SummaryThe Software Engineer carries out all small feature and sustaining software development processes to include software design, implementation, debugging, unit testing, and sustaining. The primary focus of this position is to develop quality software that is released in our web based applications installed in our Production Environment.

ResponsibilitiesConfiguration managementInvestigate, fix, debug, and unit test software defectsDesign, implement, unit test, debug minor features for our web based applicationsWrites external and internal design specifications

Qualifications RequiredBachelor's degree in Compute r Science or Information Systems (or related field) or the equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 1-2 years of experience working directly in Software EngineeringProficiency in Java and .NETWorking knowledge of software development and execution on LinuxExcellent written and verbal skillsSuperior attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to follow complex instructionsAbility to prioritize multiple workloads and lead projects to a timely conclusionSelf-directed and creative problem solverProductive in group and solo project environments

Qualifications Preferred3-5 years of experience working directly in Software Engineering a plusWorking knowledge of XML and XSLTWorking knowledge of RDBMS and SQLSoftware Development Life Cycle process proficiencySource code control proficiencySQL ServerRedhatGUI designAntWorking Knowledge of JBOSS, AMQ, ApacheExperience developing software in a Windows environment
