We are looking for an energized software engineer to design and implement software components that interface with major CAD systems such as Creo, Catia, Solidworks, NX, Inventor, etc. As part of a small agile team, this position participates in all phases of the development cycle – concept generation, technical design, prototyping, coding, QA, and maintenance.
A successful candidate with be a problem solver, work well on a team, produce high-quality maintainable code, and have a persistent desire to achieve results.
Requirements
? BS Degree in Computer Science or other technical field? Minimum 3 years experience in software devel opment using C++? Excellent verbal and written communication skills? Ability to understand and implement technical requirements? Ability to research solutions to challenging requirements
Desirable, Not Required
? Experience using CAD APIs (Pro/TOOLKIT, Catia CAA, Solidworks, Inventor, or NX) with Visual Studio IDE? Technical understanding of Mechanical Engineering design and manufacturing domain? Knowledge of GD&T and standards such as ASME Y14.5 and ISO equivalents? Experience using the Qt GUI Toolkit? Experience using defect tracking and configuration management tools such as Fogbugz and TortoiseHg? Experience using Agile development and test-driven development methodologies
